Join us in Ptuj for the Final Conference of Streets for Citizens
We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the Streets for Citizens project, taking place on 19 May 2026 in Ptuj, Slovenia, at the beautiful Dominican Monastery.
This event marks the culmination of our journey toward creating more liveable, people-centred urban spaces across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Together with our sister project CityWalk 2.0, we will showcase innovative solutions, share lessons learned, and present the results of our pilot actions implemented in cities across Europe.
Throughout the day, participants will gain insights into:
- tactical urbanism and placemaking approaches
- community engagement methods
- innovative street redesign solutions
- strategies to influence travel behaviour
The programme features inspiring keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and a unique opportunity to experience the projects firsthand during a study visit to pilot locations in Ptuj.
Whether you are a local authority representative, urban planner, policymaker, or simply interested in shaping better public spaces, this conference offers valuable knowledge, practical inspiration, and networking opportunities.
👉 Don’t miss the chance to be part of this inspiring exchange and discover how cities can reclaim their streets for citizens.
