As we approach the end of the project’s first year, we’re thrilled to share the progress and milestones achieved so far in this second edition of our e-Newsletter. The past twelve months have been a whirlwind of activity, collaboration, and innovation as we worked together to create more inclusive, people-centered urban spaces.
In this edition, we take you behind the scenes of the October partnership meeting in Portalegre, Portugal, where key discussions and co-creation sessions shaped the next steps of the project. You’ll also find updates on the achievements across our work packages, as well as insights from each partner on the progress they’ve made during the first year.
From baseline studies to tactical urbanism methodologies and strategic communication efforts, Streets for Citizens is steadily building a foundation for sustainable urban transformation. This year also laid the groundwork for future capacity-building activities and citizen involvement, ensuring the project’s long-term impact. We are proud of how far we’ve come and excited for the journey ahead as we work towards greener, more connected urban environments.
Thank you for following our journey! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and inspire throughout the project.
