EU MOBILITY WEEK IN CITY OF PTUJ
Workshop with pre-school children about autonomous vechicles
Under the guidance of pre-school teachers children learned about our future cars – autonomous vechicles (AV). They most liked the idea to be able to pick up their parents from work with AV, instead of parents picking them up in kindergarten. Second part of workshop was dedicated to creation of cars (made from small boxes and colourfull paper) as they see them in the future.
During European Mobility Week, the youngest from the Ptuj Kindergarten once again filled the City Square where they tested their traffic knowledge on the Kolesarčki cycling course.
Safe School Routes
As part of European Mobility Week, the ZŠAM Ptuj organized a preventive event titled “Safe School Routes” for 4th-grade students from all primary schools in Ptuj. The event featured a wide range of activities and was attended by 114 4th-grade students from Ljudski vrt Primary School in Ptuj and its Grajena branch. The students spent their school day differently than usual, as the entire day was dedicated to traffic safety. Traffic-related topics were presented to them in an engaging and practical way.
Streets for children
The primary schools in Ptuj participated in the preventive campaign “STREETS FOR CHILDREN.” Since children cannot draw on the ground in parks or gyms, we provided them with the opportunity to create with chalk in the areas around the schools and in the city center in front of City Hall.
